Conference CEU FAQ

Are CEUs (continuing education units) available for the NCGA Annual Conference?  

NCGA provides a Certificate of Attendance which identifies the contact hours that were available at the conference at the conclusion of your last day of attendance.

 

Are CLEs (continuing legal credits) available for the NGCA Annual Conference?  NCGA has made an application to the NC Bar Association for CLEs but has not received approval to date.

 

What is the conversion for Contact Hours to CEUs? 

1 CEU=10 Contact Hours.

How much is each session worth? 

Each session is 1.5 Contact Hours (90 minutes) or .15 CEUs.

 

How many Contact Hours can I get for the conference? 

That is dependent on the number of sessions you attend.  Multiple each session you attend by 1.5 Contact Hours.

 

If I only attend one day, how will I get my Certificate of Attendance? 

It will be available at the Registration Table at the conclusion of the day.  Please remind the Registration Table Volunteers that you will need your Certificate at the conclusion of the day when you check in.
