Committees
The North Carolina Guardianship Association offers the opportunity for its members to become actively involved through their standing committees. Below you will find an explanation of each committee and link to contact current chair. Finance/Fundraising/Grants
This committee develops the yearly budget, coordinates all fundraising efforts, identifies potential fundraising sources and grants and develops grants.
Membership/Nominating
This committee develops a slate of Officers and Board members, develops a plan to increase membership, develops benefits of interest to members.
Standards/Bylaws
This committee reviews and updates the Guardianship Manual, administers the Guardianship Exam, reviews applications for Certification and Recertification, reviews Bylaws and makes recommendations for change.
Education/Training
This committee plans and coordinates the annual conference and any additional trainings offered throughout the year.
Legislative/Advocacy
This committee monitors legislative issues related to guardianship, provides updates and education on such issues, and develops strategies to reach the membership and general population.
Marketing
This committee manages organizational social media pages, website, branding, promotional materials, and presentation of miscellaneous information materials on behalf of NCGA.
