Committees
The North Carolina Guardianship Association offers the opportunity for its members to become actively involved through their standing committees. Below you will find an explanation of each committee and link to contact the current committee chair. Please consider becoming involved and sharing your knowledge, skills and abilities with this ever-expanding need within the community.
Education/Training
This committee plans and coordinates the annual conference and any additional trainings offered throughout the year.
Finance
This committee develops the yearly budget, coordinates all fundraising efforts, identifies potential fundraising sources and grants and develops grants.
Legislative/Advocacy
This committee monitors legislative issues related to guardianship, provides updates and education on such issues, and develops strategies to reach the membership and general population.
Membership/Nominating
This committee develops a slate of Officers and Board members, develops a plan to increase membership, develops benefits of interest to members.
Bylaws
This committee reviews Bylaws and makes recommendations for change.
