Call for Presentations

Why present at the NCGA Conference? Presenting provides an opportunity to build your professional network and experience lifelong learning with lifelong friends. Presenting is a wonderful way to share knowledge, experiences, and ideas. NCGA would love to showcase future directions, best practices, stories of successful collaborations, lessons learned, and solutions to guardianship related problems.

Whether you are a first-time submitter/presenter or a veteran presenter, we welcome your submission! Please read this page carefully to prepare the information for your presentation.

Are you interested in being an exhibitor?

Describe your session

In addition to your contact information, you'll need to create a session title and abstract. What can you say that will encourage your colleagues to attend your session? In 3-4 sentences, tell us what you will cover during your session.

Identify learning outcomes

EIdentify 1-3 key takeaways or learning outcomes (e.g., things participants will know or be able to do as a result of participating in the session).

Submit a photo

Please include a photo that clearly shows your face. It does not have to be a professional headshot. 



Our Education Committee strives to develop a program that represents our diverse community. Before starting this form, you may want to reflect on the following:

  • Does my description show how the session will reflect or address diversity, equity, and inclusion (including subject matter, individuals of all identities, and demographic characteristics)?

  • If your session has more than three speakers, does it include diversity in gender, ethnicity, location and employment of speakers, diversity in thought and opinion?
